Daily writing prompt
If the salary was the same, what job would you be doing right now and why?

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Colossians 3:23-24

I’m so thankful to be doing what I’m doing right now, and if I was working a job I would want it to be this. Once again the sun is beginning to rise in the sky where I view the beauty and excitement of it outside my window here by my desk. The school buses are busy on their routes gathering children to deliver them to school. And most importantly, I am inviting Holy Spirit to speak to me and for my heart to be engaged with the treasure of sweet fellowship together with Holy Spirit as He reveals nuggets of Truth and guides me into a new day of living and loving.

I come here to build upon the website of Westbrook Sheep Shed. There are pages and posts where I can revisit and add to the comments, there are devotions that I can read and wait upon Holy Spirit to give me understanding and revelations of Jesus, Father God, and the Kingdom of God. There are songs that can be played that brings a smile to my face and touches my heart with the deep love that God has for each of us.

There is a hope that others will join with me here at The Westbrook Sheep Shed and find encouragement, be touched by the presence of Holy Spirit and want to discover more of what meeting together for small moments of time can bring day by day. This is also my journey as I visit here together with you.

This is a heartfelt job that I love.

As I look over my life; past and present, I can clearly see the goodness of God! However, in response to the question: If the salary was the same, what would be my job of choice and why? It would be that of an Evangelist. To wake up in the morning realizing that I’m still among the land of the living is truly something to be grateful for. More exciting is being able to share this truth with others; in that, it also applies to them if they awaken to a new day. Letting the world and especially those within my arena know that it was the true and living God who allowed us to rise from slumber should be reverenced. He alone is the One who gives us breath, the only One who holds the power over life and death. God, Himself is the reason for our being. To imitate the lifestyle of the disciples of Jesus Christ is very fulfilling to me and brings to mind that of John 9:4; I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work. Evangelism speaks to my heart, a very rewarding job indeed that I welcome with my whole heart.

2 Corinthians 6:1 NKJV

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
