So it’s been since March in the Spring of 2026 that I had a thought and followed it to WordPress and began a hobby that gives me joy in the morning.
Every day I wake up, get a cup of coffee and come here in the quiet space of my desk that is next to a window where I watch the sunrise and the day break. This is a place where I find delight in the presence of the LORD, and my heart desires to know Him more, to awaken to His love and seeking His Kingdom and righteousness.
That is the result of this hobby of growing with the Westbrook Church Sheep Shed website and learning the beautiful treasures that are found as I read daily devotions of God’s Word, and then look for a scripture that sparks my attention to put on the sticky bar for each day. Then there is a sweet joy of looking at the Daily Writing Prompt and taking a moment to consider the question and then just go with the flow of sharing the thoughts and words to express what the prompt stirred up. I’m thankful for Holy Spirit as He is always with me and helps me to remember times in my journey that I can share here and give a testimony of the goodness of God in the midst of living life.
This is the day the LORD has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
